Set Berlese-Apparatus including Stereoscope 89930

The Berlese apparatus (also known as the Berlese-Tullgren funnel) was developed for the biological investigation of soil samples. It is primarily used to sort out microorganisms (microarthropods) from mulch, leaf litter and pine needle litter for experimental purposes.

The Berlese apparatus demo set is intended for both qualitative and quantitative investigation of illustrative soil habitats, and it can be employed in general science lessons as well as for more specialised teaching.

The set ‘Berlese-Apparatus’ with the stereoscope 89930 enables observing microorganisms.

The picture shows a laboratory setup with a microscope and a filtration system illuminated by a light bulb. In the funnel is a mixture of different materials, possibly used for an experiment to study substances.

The picture shows an experimental setup where dried leaves are placed in a transparent bowl under a light bulb. The heat from the lamp could be used to demonstrate various chemical or physical processes.
The image shows a hand holding a small black worm or maggot. In the background, some laboratory equipment is visible, indicating an experimental environment.
The image shows a detailed white butterfly with black spots positioned on a light background. It is ideal for educational purposes to encourage learning about insects and their characteristics.
The image shows a small, coiled millipede with a body decorated with horizontal stripes. It lies on a light-colored surface that draws the focus to the animal and makes its details clearly visible.
The image shows a shiny, black and brown beetle with a striking horn on its head. It is shown on a white background, which shows off its details and structure well.
The image shows a dead bumblebee on a white background. The bumblebee is clearly recognizable, with a fluffy body and transparent wings, making it ideal for educational purposes in the experimental field.
The image shows a detailed close-up of a bee with characteristic yellow and black stripes. It sits on a light background, which makes its features stand out clearly.
